Pediatric Nurse Residency
The Pediatric Nurse Residency Training Program is a 12-month program which aims to
develop nurses to become experts in child health nursing. Through this training program, the
participating nurses will have the opportunity to be rotated in all clinical areas (pediatric
subspecialties), to work with the highly competent members of the pediatric healthcare team, and
to provide holistic care for pediatric patients and their family.
How to apply?
STEP 1: Submit the following documents to the Office of the Executive Director
1.1 Letter of intent to join the Pediatric Nurse Residency Training Program, addressed
to the Executive Director
1.2 Updated curriculum vitae/resume with 2x2 picture
1.3 Photocopy of the following
 1.3.1 Transcript of Records
 1.3.2 College Diploma
 1.3.3 Board Rating and Board Certificate
 1.3.4 PRC License
 1.3.5 Seminars and Trainings Attended (within the last three years)
STEP 2: Take the qualifying examination and undergo the interview that will be conducted by
the Nursing Training Office. The Nursing Training Office Secretariat will call you for
the schedule of the QE and interview once your application has passed the initial
screening.
STEP 3: Keep your line open and wait for our call informing you that you have been accepted to
the program. Further instructions about the additional documents/requirements, and
medical clearance. The deadline for submission will be given to you accordingly.
STEP 4: Attend the required 2-week didactic orientation session set by the Nursing Training
Office.
