 The Department |
| Our department faced major changes, and with the appointment of the new Deputy Director for Nursing Services, adrenalines soared high. The Nursing Service organization underwent major restructuring. OIC-Chief Nurses and Associate Chief Nurses were designated to supervise nursing concerns of the different centers; Cancer and Blood Center, Pediatric Critical Care Center, Pediatric and Neonatology, Pediatric Surgery, Heart, Lung and Kidney, Neuroscience Center, Adolescent Center and the Pay Division.  Our Objective |
| Under the new organizational structure, the prime objective is to staff the centers with competent and highly skilled center nurses and nursing staff. Obviously, the nursing service had to catch up with the training of nurses in the special areas, and movements and reassignments were made. Click here to read more. |

| Aside from our excellent performances in Cultural and Arts, the Nursing Department through its Special Planning on Programs Task Force, with the strong support of the Executive Director, Dr. Julius Lecciones, created the Pediatric Nursing Healthcare Society. Click here to read more. |
