| Pediatric Nursing Training Course |
| RATIONALE: The child is not just a small adult. They have their peculiar physical, psycho-social characteristics that warrant appropriate interventions. Even from infancy to adolescent, each age group differs markedly from the other. It’s not only the computation of the drug dosage that would differ for example, but also the drug preparation, route, timing and even the approach. This makes Pediatrics special and Pediatric Nursing a highly specialized nursing field. |
